You also have museums to visit, including the Highland Aviation Museum and the Cromarty Courthouse Museum
Inverness also sits at the head of Loch Ness - where you can take a boat trip to see whether you can spot the famous monster.

The Anchor and Chain is set on the northern shores of the Beauly Firth, with some picturesque views out across this expanse of water. Sleeping 10 people, The Anchor and Chain makes a nice destination for either a family holiday, or a get together with friends.
What else can I tell you about The Anchor and Chain? Well, it has a TV, DVD player and that all-important accompaniment to any holiday, Wi-Fi. There is also a kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dish washer, washing machine and a tumble dryer. The bedrooms consist of a couple of double bedrooms and three twin bedrooms. And should you have a dog which would enjoy walks along the shores of Beauly Firth, you can bring him or her along too.
