Sanibel Cottage is located just off the high street in Aldeburgh
Aldeburgh is a small town on the Suffolk coast, a shingle beach affair with fresh fish still being landed on the beach -
with the fish being for sale from the fishermens' sheds. The pebble beach is also a nice place to sit
and watch the world go by.
The town centre runs parallel to the beach, set back about 50 yards or so. On the main street you'll find a couple of
pubs selling Adnams beer - a Suffolk speciality. And a couple of fish and chip shops; a butcher, baker, ice-cream shop and
the obligatory supermarket mean that all you need can be found in this Suffolk town.
If a holiday in Aldeburgh is something which appeals to you, and you're thinking of heading to this Suffolk town
with your partner, you might be interested in "Sanibel Cottage". Sanibel Cottage sleeps 2 people, so is only
geared up for a couple, and is located on a small alleyway directly of the high street.
You can walk along seafront to Thorpeness and a row on the meare. Or take the car and visit Dunwich. With one of Aldeburgh's
famous fish and chip shops on the corner of Sanibel's lane, you don't have to venture too far for tea.
We recently walked from Thorpeness to Aldeburgh and passed Sanibel Cottage, taking photos as we went. You see
